Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report! What a beautiful week we’ve had here in the Upper Florida Keys, and the fishing is picking up after this moon, so things are coming together.
The mahi report deep-sea fishing offshore has been on the slow side, but managing enough for a few dinners nonetheless. If this year is anything like last year things should be picking up starting now! The bite to the south has been a little better, so we should see these fish start heading our way. The sword ledge has been producing this week with a few smaller swordfish, but decent ones I would say. A few in the 100 pound mark that I know of, but nothing crazy. The weather has been really nice for it, so it has been a good offshore variety as the Marathon hump has been hot with a size large tuna bite. The sharks have been tough, but have managed to get more than our share most days.
Well, that’s it for this week. Check back next week for a new report! Be safe out there!
