Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report! The weather this week has been a little crazy with all of the cold fronts coming through. The weekend weather doesn’t look a lot better, but I think it’s going to be manageable. Time will tell to see how it all pans out.
The offshore report this week still had a few mahi in it, so that was nice to see on the calmer days. Nothing to report from the sword ledge on our end, but I’m sure that’s going to pick up after the wind stops blowing.
The wrecks and deep legends this week were pretty productive with a nice bite of Mutton Snappers, Groupers, King Mackerel, and the usual supporting cast. The yellowtail bite on the reef was pretty solid, but you can bet it’s going to come to a screeching halt with this cold weather.
Sailfish has been the hot topic this week, and should get even better. Several people with 5-7 fish this week, so things are really shaping up! We just hope the bait sticks around as this front moves through, and doesn’t make life too miserable.
The weather for next week is looking really good, so we’re excited to get through this weekend and into next week. That’s it for this week, check back next week for a new report and be sure to stay safe out there.
