Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report!  It has been a pretty poor 1st half of the week, but the good news is as of Wednesday things were beginning to look up.  The current had completely fallen out since the weekend, and things were really tough.  Thankfully things started to pick back up mid-week and hopefully it is a sign of better things to come!

Offshore Fishing - Sailfish, Sailfish, and More Sailfish!

There wasn’t much to catch since the weekend until today.  A few Sailfish here and there amongst the fleet. There was a handful of snappers, just not much to report. As of Wednesday, conditions picked up with the current starting to go to the East, and the water cleaned up. There was all of a sudden a bit of a bottom bite with some Sailfish and Kingfish being caught again.

Wreck & Reef - Warmer Temps & Good Action!

On the wrecks and reef, the normal winter fishery should perk back up, Let’s just hope the conditions stay the same for a little bit before the fronts start all over again.

On That Note...

The weather for the weekend looks beautiful, and very stable with lots of sunshine and light winds.  We are looking forward to what this is going to bring!  Have a great weekend everyone, and be safe!
