Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report!  It has been a pretty good week as we have caught our limit 2 days in a row  until Wednesday!  The wind switched around out of the West making mahi fishing difficult to say the least.  We still managed to put 10 on the deck and a nice rack of blackfin tunas.  The offshore report from the ledge was decent on the swordfish this week.  A few nice fish in the 200 pound class were caught, so like I have been saying keep dropping!  It is only going to get better!  The reef was decent with some nice yellowtails, and a some nice king macks this week, and the deep wrecks/ ledges produced a few nice muttons.  Nothing too crazy, but plenty for the dinner table.  The weekend weather is looking like it has the potential for some rain lurking all the way into next week, so let’s hope it misses us.  The good news is the temperatures are forecast to be under 90 degrees all week, so is this the first “cool front” of the year?  I don’t think so, but I bet it is going to feel like it!  That’s it for this week!  Be safe out there and we will be back with a report next Thursday!

Tight Lines,

Capt. James Chappell
