Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report!  A lot of good fishing in this report as the offshore bite has been really good all week!  The mahi’s are back and the fishing is really good.  Great numbers of mahi’s around all week, and the  humps are loaded up with blackfin tunas, so no complaints from offshore.  Even the deep ledge is producing, as it should, a great bite of swordfish.  Tis’ the season for the mighty broadbill, but these full and new moons from August through November have proven to produce the greatest numbers of fish over the years.  I won’t say the biggest, but definitely the most.  The reef and wrecks are still holding their own, even though the shark population is out of control.  The yellowtails are biting, you just have to deal with the sharks.  The wreck fishing has had some promising moments, but this time of year is always tough, so we are happy to get what we can get.  Well, looks like we are dodging bullets this year with the storms, so let’s hope that continues.  Looks like it is going to be a calm weekend with the winds forecast to only be 5-7 out of the SW.  A chance of some scattered storms on Saturday, but I doubt that is going to cause too many issues.  Sunday looks great, so get on out there and have an awesome and safe day on the water!  See you all next week!

Tight Lines,

Capt. James Chappell
