Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report!   The weather has been a little better this week, and the fishing has been pretty good too.  Sails are starting to bite a little and the numbers are getting better.  The offshore bite out to 300’ has been pretty good all around.  The deeper wrecks and ledges have been producing some nice muttons and a few nice groupers, as well as some kings and tunas showing their faces.  A few mahi’s moving around still on the shallow stuff inside 4-500’ and even closer to the edge of the reef.  Things are changing for the better no doubt as the winter fishing kicks off.  The reef has been decent this week too if you could find some current going behind the boat.  Even with the cooling off of the water temps the snappers were biting with good flow.  Weather is looking good for the weekend, but we need to keep our eye on next week as the winds are going to pick up it appears.  Have a safe and fun holiday weekend everyone!  Until next week!

Tight Lines,

Capt. James Chappell
