Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report!  Some windy weather a few days with some sunshine mixed in, but the fishing is a little..Meh.  Hoping this weekend things pick up as things have been warming up a little this week.  Fishing hasn’t been the easiest these past few weeks, but there have been some good days mixed in.  The cold water has made catching bait challenging to say the least and hasn’t done too much for the fishing.  The fronts pushed a bunch of nasty pea soup green cold water out over the reef and it has been a challenge.  Some patch fish, some kings, a good day of tunas, and a few sails here and there have rounded out the week.  Nothing crazy, and it has been much slower than any of us like, but as of today it seems things could be changing for the better so we are hopeful for the weekend.  The weather is looking a little iffy for Sunday, but this weather has been all over the place so who knows.  There is another front coming through, so things are going to cool off next week again, but not as bad as the previous so let’s hope things pick back up to where they need to be.  That’s it for this week.  Be safe out there!

Tight Lines,

Capt. James Chappell
